It's hard to believe that we are now in our Summer Term on our learning journey and we still have lots to do. We have just finished a fantastic topic on Africa in which the children created a fabulous display mostly with contributions from home. Thank you for trusting us with your artefacts.
Potter's Green School invited us to join them to celebrate the Morning of Music. I was extremely proud of their performance and more importantly their behaviour and manners at another school.
All of the children are reading more at home, thank you for your continued support in hearing your child read; it really makes a difference to their written work.
The children are making great progress in their swimming lessons too.
This term we will be looking at healthy eating and moving and growing. We would like to put together a' look how much we've grown' board so it would be great if the children could bring in a baby photo for the display.
We are reading Bill's new frock in our literacy lessons and discussing gender roles. We are working hard in maths to become great at our number bonds to 10, 100 and 1000 and quicker at our mental maths.
Homework will be sent home twice a week (one literacy, one numeracy) and returned asap.
Thank you for your continued support in your child's learning.
